Crossroads Sunday School
Crossroads is our Sunday morning Christian Eduation program for elementary age kids. It begins at 9:30am.  Children who have been to Kindergarten  through fifth graders are involved in a rotational learning system.  Visit the Crossroads page to learn more about this exciting program and to see pictures of our Children's wing.

 Nursery

The children in the nursery are lovingly cared for by Ms. Jackie Ray, Ms. Suzana Rivas, Ms. Cindy Mejia and volunteers. Nursery care is available for both worship services and during Sunday school. Parents receive a pager when they drop off their children so they may be contacted in case of an emergency.

 

Preschool

Preschool class meets during the Sunday school hour which begins at 9:30am.  Ms. Christi Carter teaches this class.  She loves kids and they love her!  Through centers and lots of activities, preschoolers learn about the love of God.  All preschool kids between the ages of 2 - 3 are welcome to this class!

Four/Five Year Olds

       There is a 4/5/6 year old class(includes children who have not been to Kindergarten or who have started).  Each week we are meeting with the preschoolers briefly for a video and singing then we move to one of the rotational Sunday School rooms.  They are happy to still see Ms. Christi but, enjoy the beginning of journeying with Ms. Debby into the rotation model.  

It is easy to tell where this class is.  The green panel hanging from our door is where we are.  The yellow panel is the preschool class. 

 

 

 

 

 

Children's Worship

Children's Worship is available every Sunday during the 10:45 am worship service.  Children between the ages of 3 and 3rd grade are invited to attend.  Our Children's Worship is an exciting way to approach faith formation with children.  We believe each child is a spiritual being who is in a uniqute relationship with God.  Through the stories and actions of Children's Worship, children learn about God as they experience God.  They hear Bible sotries in a way that allows them to enter into the stories through their own life experiences.  It is a Montessori-based model and often works wonders with children who have attention deficit problems.
